The Fort Morgan Museum has permanent and temporary exhibits that showcase the museum's collection. It also takes advantage of traveling exhibits from other institutions throughout the United States. The Museum Store has many items relating to the city and region.

The Fort Morgan Museum is located in beautiful downtown Fort Morgan, just off of Interstate I-76 in Northeastern Colorado, about an hour's drive from Denver. To visit the Fort Morgan Museum, use Exit 80 on I-76 and proceed south on Main Street. The museum sits one block south of the third stoplight in City Park.

The Fort Morgan Museum is the only museum on the Eastern Plains of Colorado to be accredited by the American Association of Museums and one of a handful in the state to be AAM accredited. This means that the Museum has undergone a rigorous examination and been found to meet all, and exceed most, industry standards.
