He comes from a proud military family and has spent most of his career as an educator in the Middle East and Asia. His passion is travel, and he seizes any opportunity to share his experiences in the most immersive way possible, whether at sea or on the land.

Fort Boonesborough has been reconstructed as a working fort complete with cabins, blockhouses and furnishings.

Tours Available April 1- Oct 31., 9 a.m.- 5:30 p.m..

Admission

$4.50 adults, $3.50 children (3 to 12) Admission to Kentucky River Museum is included. Children under 3 free.

Student group of ten or more should inquire.
Adult group of ten or more may allow discount.

The Kentucky River Museum, a newer addition to Fort Boonesborough State Park, provides visitors with insight into the lives of families who lived on the river and worked the locks and dams in the 1900s. It tells the story of the development of commerce on the river.

Open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. everyday from April 1 through October 31.
