Michael has a BA in History & American Studies and an MSc in American History from the University of Edinburgh. He comes from a proud military family and has spent most of his career as an educator in the Middle East and Asia. His passion is travel, and he seizes any opportunity to share his experiences in the most immersive way possible, whether at sea or on the land.

Experience the lure of Yellowstone National Park. Located in the historic Union Pacific Depot at West Yellowstone. The museum showcases the history of visitation and transportation to our nations first national park. The museum contains displays on stage coach and railroad companies that brought tens of thousands of visitors to the park; wildlife of the area, and the ‘fires of 88’. Open daily from mid May through mid October. Family and group rates available.

Directions

The Museum of the Yellowstone is located 2 blocks west of the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park in the town of West Yellowstone. It is located on the south side of Yellowstone Avenue in the historic Union Pacific Depot, at the corner of Canyon Street and Yellowstone Avenue.
